"The Place Where We Are Heading To (Korean title: 우리가 향하는 그곳)" is a site-specific and interactive performance work.

The Place Where We Are Heading To is a reinterpreted version of traditional Korean shamanism in a contemporary way. In the performance, artist performs an ancestral rite under the tree with the Korean shaman music composed with Korean musical instruments. The tree where she performs is the only tree situated in Finlayson Art Area and it was chosen by her heart and intuition. In Korea, people choose a specific tree that people believe it can protect their village and annually pray to the tree. The concept of The Place Where We Are Heading To was developed and redesigned in a contemporary aspect from the original idea of the culture.

The performance requires an engagement with a random audience. By inviting the unprepared audience, the meaning of The Place Where We Are Heading To can be completed.
